Thomas Fox is a Managing Director of BLX, where he focuses on business development and oversees client relations with housing authorities, transportation issuers, and educational institutions. Mr. Fox shares BLX's commitment to education and addressing the needs of our clients, and as such is a frequent lecturer on such topics as bond proceeds reinvestment, derivative monitoring, and post-issuance compliance.
Mr. Fox began his career as an analyst in our Los Angeles office in 1995. Two years later he established our San Francisco office, and since then has overseen the growth of our compliance and advisory practices in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest. Mr. Fox is now based in our Boston office and his responsibilities have expanded to include business development efforts in his native New England.
Our nationwide Housing practice has grown under Mr. Fox's leadership, earning BLX recognition across the country for its experience and expertise. We offer industry-leading expertise in the areas of the universal cap provisions, revenue fund allocation, and GASB 53 compliant derivative monitoring, as they each relate to housing bonds.
With his recent relocation to Boston, Mr. Fox hopes to leverage his expertise with educational and healthcare institutions in New England, the part of the country with perhaps the highest concentration of such world class facilities.
Mr. Fox is a magna cum laude graduate of Harvard University with a BA in Linguistics and is a registered investment advisor representative, holding an NASD Series 65 license.
